Somewhere in the world, there is a man who's allowed to kiss you.
Somewhere in the world, there is a man who's allowed to love you.
And somewhere in the world, someone dreams of you at night.
And beautiful poems of you they do hopelessly indite.
Somewhere in the world, there are those who're allowed to know you.
Somewhere in the world, there are those who're allowed to love you.
And somewhere in the world, someone awaits one moment.
And that moment is when you make, from heaven, your descent.
They know not what it is they will say.
Though I am sure they shall rehearse
Every last word in every last way
Of that quaintly indited little verse.
Their dreams allow them to love you.
In that world you love them also,
Because in dreams that's what you do,
Everyone's part of your puppet show.
The world is perfect.
Or so it would seem.
For someone to see you
It would take a dream.
To them, you are everything.
And yet, you are nothing.
To me, you are everything.
And yet, you are nothing.
